New Senior Appointments at Hirepool Reflect Continued Growth

4 March 2009: Hirepool Limited has made three new senior appointments as it continues to strengthen its position as the premier rental equipment solutions provider. Hirepool is the cornerstone business in the New Zealand Rental Group, a leading industrial services and distribution operator.

The new appointments are Phil Knox (Branch Manager Hastings), Terry Byrne (Branch Manager Nelson) and Ashley Woon (Branch Manager Taupo). All three men bring a wealth of management experience and a clear focus to growing a significant share of the existing market.

Knox and Byrne both join Hirepool with more than 20 years management experience, while Woon, previously Branch Manager at Hirepool Nelson, has 13 years hire industry knowledge.

New Zealand Rental Group Chief Executive Mark Powell says, “I am confident all three will play a significant part in the continued growth of Hirepool and its commitment to create and maintain sustainable partnerships with customers and suppliers.”
