J.L. Lennard expands its success in NZ food and beverage markets
One of Australasia’s longest established and most successful suppliers to the food service and food and beverage packaging industries, J.L. Lennard Pty Ltd, is expanding its presence in New Zealand.
The company – which distributes and services some of the world’s leading brands of food service, manufacturing and packaging equipment - has acquired the Taylor Freezer, Henny Penny, XLT Pizza Oven, Manitowoc ice machines, Ram portion control equipment and Karma hot drink dispensing machines business from Taylor Equipment Limited.
J.L. Lennard Managing Director David Boekemann has also announced that his company’s KSL Packaging business has changed its name to J.L. Lennard Limited to reflect the business’ expanded capabilities as part of one of Australasia’s most experienced companies in the food and beverage industry.
Both changes, effective from 23rd February, 2009, will bring
new resources into the industries they serve, he says.
“Our goals are to extend and improve the service levels on
the equipment and services involved, with our experienced
New Zealand teams also gaining the full backing of an
Australasian network that is an established leader in its
field.”

The J.L. Lennard name has a long history in New Zealand, beginning when the company established an office in Wellington in 1899.
“We are now delighted to again have an expanding presence under our own name in New Zealand and look forward to supporting the many customers of our businesses around the country, and progressively introducing an expanding range of new products and services to the New Zealand market,” said Mr Boekemann.
