New General Manager at MotorSport New Zealand
Brian Budd has been appointed general manager of MotorSport New Zealand, replacing Ross Armstrong who retires at the end of March.
Following several years in the banking industry, Brian gained a Diploma in Performance Music and then worked overseas.
He has extensive experience in running not-for-profit national and regional organisations both in the arts and sport, organising events and dealing with large numbers of members and volunteers.
A motorsport enthusiast, he has been a competitor in rallying, both as a driver and co-driver and is treasurer of the Wellington Car Club.
He comes to his new position from CEO of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club.
