Photosales Listed For Sale On Trade Me

Photosales.co.nz, Australasia’s largest stock photography internet site, has been listed for sale on Trade Me. The reserve is a single dollar.

 A company spokesperson says: “The time is ripe for the www.Photosales.co.nz baton to be passed from creator to entrepreneur.” 

Member photographers can digitally upload their photos. Images are then available for e-commerce purchase over the internet. A members receives a royalty for each of their image’s sold..

A company spokesperson states: “There are over 800 member photographers located throughout the length and breadth of NZ”.

Digital files can be purchased. In addition, prints of various sizes and images may be reproduced other items.

In addition to the parent site there are other developed internet sites which form part of the sale. These include a camera sales site ( www.camerasales.co.nz ), an event photography site ( www.ourphotos.co.nz ) and a school photography site ( www.classphotos.co.nz )

Photosales has also created sites targeted to individual events.

A company spokesman points out: “3,000 competitors attended the College Games in Hamilton. As official photographers we were able to cover the entire event using our members.”

Further: “Photosales were official photographers at the 2008 Stage Challenge. Our members successfully covered 16 venues. Venues from Invercargill to Whangarei”
