New Maori and Pacific Recruitment
Specialist first of its kind in the World.
Mana
Recruitment (www.manarecruitment.co.nz) which launched this
week is believed to be the first Maori and Pacific
recruitment marketing company in the world.
“We
identified a need for a specialist Maori and Pacific
recruitment provider operating throughout New Zealand and
the South Pacific regions. There were a handful of niche
providers operating, but no one covered both Maori and
Pacific recruitment” explained Heather Walker the Managing
Director of Mana Recruitment.
“The response we
have had from Maori organizations and Government officials
throughout the Pacific has been very supportive to some of
the initiatives we are planning. A lot of New Zealand
companies and organizations require people with Maori and
Pacific language skills or a good understanding of the
relevant culture. It is these groups and the individuals
looking for employment with them that we seek to assist.”
she explained.
Mana Recruitment aims to take the
fear out of the recruitment process and make it a lot more
accessible to Maori and Pacific people, organizations and
businesses.
