It is Not all
Doom and Gloom in the Markets
While negative economic data continues to dominate the news CMC Markets New Zealand has seen some positive trends in the markets in recent weeks.
Sargon Elias general manager, CMC Markets New Zealand says that even before the $1.1 Trillion announcement from the G20 there were indications that the markets were feeling more positive.
“The G20 announcement certainly has helped push markets up but we had been witnessing a steady climb in markets before that.
We attribute this to a number of factors including more details on the financial package from the US Treasury Secretary, changes to accounting reporting rules for banks and encouraging performance from some banks. They have combined to create a more positive mood and our trading patterns are reflecting this.”
