Australian born business opens in Auckland
New Zealand businessman looks to change the face of digital media by bringing his unique product and Australian born business home with offices now open in Auckland.
Digital media Australian born company Yeahpoint has defied the global recession and continued incredible growth during the current financial year, and with offices now open in Auckland the company promises to have a significant impact in New Zealand due to the uniqueness of its product and services.
Christchurch born business man Matt Cudworth is one of two other partners who started Yeahpoint, one of the fastest growing producers of custom designed, interactive digital solutions, back in 2003.
Having seen a gap in the market for quality, innovative, digital point of product marketing systems Yeahpoint expects its growth this financial year to top 300% with offices now open in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and South Africa.
Chief Technology Officer Matt Cudworth, who started his career with Tait Electronics, says much of this is to do with the uniqueness of their product, its quality, delivering on time and producing a product that actually increases sales. Mr Cudworth says some of their clients, which include L’Oreal, Mars and Singtel, have reported increases of up to 600% - an attractive factor in recessionary times.
“We are experiencing massive global growth because we improve both customer and employee service while at the same time cutting costs,” he explained. “Our product runs on a unique customer and employee self service delivery platform which has also been a huge factor in our success.”
Mr Cudworth says the award winning company developed the unique platform YeahWARE v1.0 on which all of the company’s products operate when it became apparent other companies producing digital media and signage in the retail environment were failing in the areas of interactivity, flexibility and speed to market. With support from the Australian Government and Microsoft Yeahpoint was able to build a platform that overcame these obstacles and now it has established itself so firmly in the market place that it has its sights set on expanding into Europe and the USA.
In January this year Yeahpoint launched its YeahWARE v6.0 which now has added consumer intelligence and connectivity functions which makes the platform one of the most innovative available globally.
“We already have a number of contracts in New Zealand,” says Mr Cudworth, “and have support from the Australian Government with regards to our export plans. I am very excited to be able to bring Yeahpoint to my home land and look forward to spending more time here as we expand the company.”
The Yeahpoint Auckland offices will be run by Adrian Fong.
