Forester’s six stars
The new generation Subaru Forester has received the top six-star crashworthiness rating for occupant safety protection in testing conducted by the Japan New Car Assessment Program (JNCAP).
The small SUV has received the coveted six-star rating for driver’s seat and front passenger seat protection and a high Level Five rating for pedestrian head protection.
The Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism conducts the testing along with the National Agency for Automotive Safety and Victims Aid.
Last year, the Subaru Impreza was awarded JNCAP’s Grand Prix award for its high occupant safety rating.
