New Facilities At Terrace Downs Resort
 

In just 3 weeks from today (Friday 15th May, 2009) Terrace Downs Resort will unveil several new resort facilities and some very exciting event plans that will elevate the south island gem to the international stage.

To coincide with the announcements the team at Terrace Downs are planning a full day of activities which include a major corporate golf tournament incorporating their renowned High Country Challenge,  media conference, a classic car exhibition, lunch and dinner functions featuring live entertainment.

New Zealand born international performer Danny Fai Fai will return to the South Island to showcase his extraordinary talent which has been wooing international crowds in recent months.

Two more of New Zealand’s home growns, Jenny Morris and Jon Stevens are also rumoured to be in attendance at Terrace Downs Resort on 15th May.

Jenny Morris is one of Australasia’s most seasoned and recognized performers. Jenny’s solo career has spanned over 20 years and includes 4 multi-platinum albums and top charting singles such as “You’re Gonna Get Hurt”, “Body and Soul”, “She’s Got to be Loved” and “Break in the Weather”. Jenny’s hits are etched in New Zealand and Aussie music history and still receive regular airplay. Jenny has performed on some of the world’s largest stages including Wembley Stadium and toured with iconic musicians including Paul McCartney and INXS.

Jon Stevens is best known as the front man for the award winning supergroup of the eighties and early nineties, Noiseworks and a 2 year stint at the front of INXS.

Not expected to sing on the 15th May event Jon and Jenny are believed to be making some announcements of their own that involve the Terrace Downs venue.
