New MD for Glassons
Hallenstein
Glasson Holdings Limited has appointed a familiar pair of
hands as Managing Director of the Glassons womenswear
business.
Di Humphries, a former Managing Director of Glassons, will assume the role from 18 May 2009, replacing James Whiting who is leaving the post to pursue personal goals.
Hallenstein Glasson Chief Executive Officer, Roy Dillon says James has had a long and respected career during his 18 years with the company, during which he has held a number of executive positions including General Manager of the Hallensteins menswear chain.
“Jamie signalled his intention earlier in the year to leave, and his departure comes with the goodwill of the company.”
“Di is a seasoned operator, well-known to staff and a reputation for being a highly competent operator. She has been associated with Hallenstein Glasson in a range of executive and Board roles with the Glassons womenswear chain for the past 10 years, five of which were as Managing Director of Glassons. She is looking forward to taking up this new opportunity,” Mr Dillon says.
