Enter Now for NZB South Island Sale
Entries for the 2009 New Zealand Bloodstock South Island Sale are now being accepted, with entries closing on Wednesday 27 May.
The Sale of unbroken two-year-olds is unique as the only sale in New Zealand dedicated to unraced two-year-olds, taking place in the beautiful, snowy South in August with spring racing on the horizon, and the NZB's Ready To Run Sale of 2YOs in November just a few months away.
The South Island Sale saw tremendous growth in 2008 with the median price jumping a staggering 41% while the average and aggregate of the Sale saw similar gains from 2007 figures. Added to that, the Sale boasts international success through the deeds of horses like Master O'Reilly and More Bountiful, aiding to the growing popularity of this Sale for buyers year upon year.
This year's Sale will take place at the Canterbury Agricultural Park in Christchurch on 7 August. The timing of the event coincides with both the 2009 Mercedes Thoroughbred Racing Awards which will be held in Christchurch this year, and as in previous years, the Canterbury Jockey Club's Winter Racing Carnival.
The Sale also offers vendors the opportunity to enter mixed bloodstock including yearlings, broodmares, unraced stock, racehorses and stallions.
New Zealand Bloodstock's 2009 South Island Sale will have an entry fee of $600+GST for all entries. Enter your two-year-olds today.
