The most lop-sided betting platform in State of Origin history will propel Qld in a raging favourite with bookmaker Centrebet to put the cleaners through NSW, starting with tomorrow night’s opener in Melbourne!

Centrebet media chief Neil Evans said the Maroons have shortened from $1.53 into $1.48 to win game 1 after a NSW Nth Coast punter yesterday wagered $45,000.00 at $1.53 on the Maroons, and again this morning individual bets of $7,000.00, $5,000.00, $4,000.00 and $3,000.00 have arrived for Qld all at $1.50!

“Something’s not right, the Blues’ side looks one of the better ones in recent years after some woeful selections in the past, yet the money is so overwhelming for Qld, punters are giving NSW virtually no chance!”

Even the money at the Line – with NSW getting 5.5 start - is running 4:1 the Maroons way, with nearly $40,000.00 invested! And the dominant ‘Margin’ option has been Qld by 13 + at $3.05.

Shooting for a fourth straight series win, the Maroons have shortened on Centrebet from an opening $1.60 into $1.48 to win the series, and have been also well backed to complete a 3-0 clean sweep! NSW has done nothing but ‘blow’ – from an opening $2.30 out to $2.65!
