Fabulous Food at Fieldays

Kiwi’s Best at National Fieldays has turned tasting New Zealands finest produce into a full time job. The Kiwi’s Best marquee has been full to bursting during the first three days of Fieldays. All the Kiwi’s Best exhibitors have been inundated with crowds of people wanting to taste their wares.

Shott Beverage are offering a selection coffee syrups and delicious hot drinks (Lemon Ginger &Honey and Cranberry drinks) have experienced continual sales and plenty of interest. Hamilton based condiments producer Wild Country have enjoyed the steady flow of people and the atmosphere in the Kiwis Best Marquee has been great. Best Indoor Site merit award winner West Coast Breweries have gained excellent exposure from their time at Fieldays and their participation in the Kiwi’s Best demonstration kitchen. They have experienced crowds three deep at their site for the majority of the event and have experienced a sales spike in the Hamilton market.

The centre stage has been graced by Wellington Based celebrity Chef Al Brown from TV’s Hunger for the Wild, attracting huge audiences to his on stage cooking demonstrations. Using product available in Kiwi’s Best Al has created a variety of tantalising recipes for crowds to enjoy.

Kiwi’s Best is in its second year at Fieldays and is set to become a permanent feature on all serious foodies calendars. Fieldays Event Coordinator Gemma Antoniadis is extremely pleased with the response from both the public and the exhibitors involved with Kiwi’s Best. “The venue looks amazing and planning for next year is already underway to create an even bigger showcase of Kiwi’s Best produce.”
