DFL Group acquires Vcomms Ltd.

Vcomms Ltd was incorporated in 2001 to provide a new generation of secure wireless and IP solutions for financial transaction networks to reliably link EFTPOS and ATM terminals with financial institutions. Vcomms developed a new generation of unique end-to-end connectivity solutions enabling new security and management functionality. For banks and merchants, Vcomms solutions deliver increased security, reduced costs, shorter transaction times, higher network availability and freedom from wired connections for ATM and EFTPOS terminals.

Vcomms solutions work with any brand of ATM and EFTPOS terminal and any bank host connection. Installers simply unplug equipment from old telecommunications networks and plug into Vcomms networks. Vcomms solutions build on low cost, generic IP networks adding Vcomms smarts to ensure fast, secure, dependable and quality-assured carriage across financial transaction networks all over the world.

Vcomms solutions allow Financial Institutions to take control of their transaction communications without compromising their core business. Vcomms can supply the necessary components allowing customers to create, build and maintain their own networks or can provide them with a managed network service.

The new business will trade as Vcomms Connect Ltd.
