The news keeps getting better for Auckland business women Heidi Riley and Louisa Currie. Following on from their recent success at the Bloom Her Business Woman of the Year Awards, their online baby essentials boutique, Belly Beyond, has been announced as a dual Finalist in the Westpac Waitakere Business Awards 2009.
Featuring in the Corban Revell Small Business Award category and the Airpro Marketing Excellence Award category, has been a double delight for the pair, who are also full-time Mums. “We are honoured to be included in more than one category and can’t wait to start the next phase of the process”, says Heidi. “Entering the awards has been a fantastic exercise for us” adds Louisa, “as a start-up business it’s been beneficial to focus not only on what we are doing well, but the areas where we can improve.”
Belly Beyond was launched on Mother’s Day last year and has grown enormously since then. What started out as an online store with gift packs for mothers, has bloomed into a busy online baby store with over 300 products.
