Local Businesses Reap Rewards

Two local businesses have benefited from a promotion run by local personal risk advisers, Abacus Group.

Kane and Gayleen Innes, the directors of Grow Well Landscape Supplies in Bell Block, won a four night luxury escape to Melbourne and Ag Traction in Waiwakaiho won a $200 voucher to Table restaurant at Nice Hotel for its Directors, Trent Hall and Paul Stanton. Both businesses entered in to Abacus Group’s Insurance Survey promotion.

Rob Gordon from Abacus says, “The aim of this promotion was to discover what levels of insurance cover are held by Taranaki business owners so that we can better tailor our offerings and remain at the forefront of providing specialist risk advice to Taranaki business owners.”

“What we discovered was that although Taranaki businesses generally recognise the need for life cover, many are underinsured in the areas of income protection and, in particular, trauma cover.”

“This promotion also enabled Abacus to get out there, face to face, and talk to a great many hardworking Taranaki business owners and it is great to see the prizes go to such worthy recipients”

Abacus Group provides specialist advice to farmers and business owners in the areas of life cover, trauma cover, income protection and health cover.
