At last, an all-encompassing fertiliser website

At last, an all-encompassing fertiliser website

The Fertiliser Quality Council (FQC) has recently updated its website and has just incorporated the Groundspreaders as an integral part of the FQC site.

Executive Director, Kevin Geddes, said that the site now contained everything a farmer needed to know about fertiliser and its application.

“Just by clicking on buttons farmers can find a list of ethical Fertmark tested fertilisers, the nearest store to provide the product and a list of Spreadmark accredited ground and aerial spreaders,” Kevin Geddes said “The entire process can now be completed in just minutes.

“In addition farmers can download DVD presentations such as ‘Four Steps to Sustainable Farming,’ and also presentations from the 2009 Massey Fertiliser and Lime Research Centre conference.

“There is also a news section where farmers can get up to the minute information and they can also link to the fertiliser companies, Federated Farmers, Fertresearch, the Fertiliser and Lime Research Centre and the Ballance Farm Environment Trust

“We have tried for a long time to get an all embracing site where farmers can get all the information they need on fertiliser and its application. We believe we have now achieved just that,” he said.
