Finalists announced for Roading Excellence Awards
Finalists announced for Roading Excellence Awards
The finalists in the annual Roading Excellence Awards were announced today by Roading New Zealand chief executive Chris Olsen.
Eleven entries from throughout the country have been named finalists in four categories sponsored by InfraTrain New Zealand, Shell Bitumen and Goughs, with category winners eligible for the Roading New Zealand Supreme Award.
The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner attended by Transport Minister Steven Joyce and industry leaders at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington on 7 September.
Mr Olsen says there has never been a better time to celebrate excellence in the roading industry.
“With the Government’s recent focus on enhancing economic growth through investments in roading infrastructure, now is the best time to showcase achievements in this sector,” Mr Olsen says.
The awards recognise excellence in the planning, design and construction of significant roading projects, as well as the development and implementation of best practice and collaboration in the roading industry.
