Exciting Times Ahead
Southern
Lakes Real Estate today announced the first of a number of
strategic initiatives designed to enhance the future
positioning and structure of the Queenstown based
firm.
Firstly, a harmonious board room reorganisation leads to the exiting of co-founder Warren White. Warren is leaving after almost 6 years with SLRE to enjoy spending more quality time with his family and pursue other interests. A spokesman for SLRE said that “Warren has made an unforgettable and invaluable contribution to our business”.
Warren’s leaving will coincide with the closing of the SLRE Cromwell office as part of a re-organisation of the firm’s geographic focus. “There are many other areas of interest to us in the South Island” said Director Stephen Hebbend. “While we are obviously sad to be saying goodbye to our staff, friends and customers in Cromwell we are confident the new owners will continue to provide superior service to property vendors, owners, tenants and buyers”. The SLRE Cromwell office and local staff are being taken over by Central & Lakes Realty 2008 Ltd (LJ Hooker) from 4th September 2009.
“Still to come” says Hebbend, “is an exciting announcement about our brand, to be revealed later this year. What we can say now though, is that there are VERY exciting times ahead for all of us, and we look forward with great confidence to sharing the rest of our vision for the future of Southern Lakes at the appropriate time! For now though it’s a matter of watch this space”
