Big Day Out for New Zealand Businesses
Big Day Out for New Zealand Businesses Back for Second Year
New Zealand’s leading business trainers, coaches and motivators will be mentoring New Zealand businesspeople in a one-stop event in Auckland on 30 October.
Following the unprecedented success of the 2008 TIME convention, the 2009 gathering brings together some of New Zealand’s most popular and inspiring professional speakers.
“We were completely overwhelmed by the success of our event last year,” says Corporate Events Guide Managing Director Stuart Macklin. “The calibre of both the speakers and event attendees was outstanding. Not only did delegates have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business but they were offered invaluable business advice for less than $300. The TIME convention encourages business people to get out of the work place and into the company of over 24 inspiring speakers, all experts in their fields.”
“The TIME convention is becoming an iconic business event,” he adds. “It’s really the Big Day Out for businesses. It’s about unity, seeing and experiencing what your peers are doing and creating new business on the day through networking. It’s fun and it provides opportunities. Everyone has the opportunity to make new contacts while learning an awful lot about business at the same time.”
The 2008 TIME Convention was a sell-out success inspiring Corporate Events Guide to relocate to a bigger venue. “The Ellerslie Events Centre allows for greater capacity to meet demand,” says Stuart. “This year we’re able to offer a location which is easy to access – it’s close to the motorway and there’s free parking too.”
Concurrent sessions will run throughout the day, with each attendee able to choose which sessions to attend, drawing up their own personalised programme to meet their individual needs.
The 2009 line-up includes hour-long sessions will be held by Amanda Fleming, Amanda Stevens, Ann Andrews, David Nottage, Debra Bell, Hugo Meares, Jamie Ford, John Shackleton, Kevin Biggar & Jamie Fitzgerald, Kevin Billett, Lee Parore, Mark Inglis, Martz Witty, Mike Handcock, Ngahihi o te ra Bidois, Nikki Gunning, Pat Armistead, Robyn Pearce, Terry Williams, Tony Adams, Yvonne Godfrey and Zuza Scherer.
Two notable additions to the Corporate Events Guide portfolio this year are the inaugural People’s Choice Awards dinner for the event planning industry and the launch of the NZ Conferences and Events Expo on Thursday 29th October.
The TIME convention will be held at the Ellerslie Events Centre, on Friday 30 October, from 7.30am to 4.45pm. Tickets for the TIME Convention are now available online at www.timeconvention.co.nz and at Ticketek.
