Bus Drivers Wage Talks to Continue
The combined bus unions and Infratil/NZ Bus will reconvene to discuss an amended union proposal at 1pm on Thursday, September 17.
Combined bus unions spokesperson Karl Andersen is disappointed Infratil/NZ Bus has chosen to release part of the amended union proposal to the media.
“We don’t think it is helpful to bargain through the media,” he says.
“They have chosen to go to the media with one part of a complex proposal which does not give the full picture.
“It brings into question how serious they are about trying to reach an agreement.
“Nevertheless we will turn up at next Thursdays meeting in good faith.”
