Quality Hotels Appoint Development Manager

Wellington's Comfort & Quality Hotels Appoint A Business Development Manager

Amanda Ryan has been appointed Business Development Manager for the Comfort and Quality Hotels complex on Cuba Street, Wellington.

In this role, she is responsible for marketing and developing new business opportunities for the two hotels and their extensive conference facilities.

Prior to taking up this position, Amanda was Marketing Manager for a Christchurch printing company. Her previous hospitality experience includes working for an international hotel in Christchurch.

General Manager Andrew Milne said, “Amanda has become a passionate Wellingtonian. She brings tremendous enthusiasm to the role, which she combines with professional marketing discipline.”

She has also had responsibility for the hotel complex’s CQ brand, the newly launched identity for the Comfort and Quality Hotels that brings together the combined features of the hotels and their Cuba Quarter location.

Amanda was educated at Villa Maria College, Christchurch. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and Management with First Class Honours from Lincoln University.

An accomplished athlete, Amanda plays netball for Wellington East 1 and was recently selected for the Wellington NPC B team.

Amanda Ryan said, “Positively Wellington Tourism has done a tremendous job establishing the Capital as a high-end, weekend escape destination in New Zealand. This has provided a great platform for promoting the Comfort and Quality Hotels, given our location in centrally located Cuba Quarter, and the stylish yet affordable accommodation we provide for visitors and conference attendees.”

Andrew Milne said, “We are delighted that Amanda has joined our team as Business Development Manager. She is such a passionate advocate for both Wellington and the Quality and Comfort Hotels.”
