Shell Price Decrease
ATTENTION NEWS ROOMS
Shell New Zealand has again decreased the price at the pumps today with a 4 cent decrease in petrol, effective 10.45 this morning, Monday 28 September.
Shell fuel (at the majority of Shell outlets) is now priced at:
Ultra 91 154.9 (down 4cpl)
V-Power 161.9 (down 4cpl)
Diesel 99.9
(no change)
Today's price drop reflects a decrease in the cost of product and a strong New Zealand dollar.
This is a total of 8 cents decrease in petrol over the last few days. Shell also led a 4 cent price decrease at 8am on Saturday morning.
Shell would like to remind motorists that fuel excise duty (FED) on petrol and road user charges (RUC) increases 3 cents per litre effective Thursday, 1 October.
Shell reviews its prices daily, and we act as quickly as we can to deliver the best price to Kiwis.
