Maori TV confirms Rugby World Cup '11 bid

TELEVISION STATEMENT
Maori Television confirms that it
has submitted a bid to the IRB for the exclusive free-to-air
rights of the Rugby World Cup 2011. Maori Television is
awaiting the outcome of that bid.
Should the bid be
successful Maori Television is open to considering the
possibility of some sub-licensing to include other
free-to-air broadcasters. Any sub-licensing arrangement
would be agreed on commercial terms and conditions that are
acceptable to Maori
Television.
