Who Rules Wellington? Corporates Clash It Out
Wellingtonians are used to being spoilt for choice when it comes to events and activities in their city but now there is a sensational new kid on the block! Clash of the Corporates is a team adventure race and obstacle course around Wellington‘s spectacular Waterfront being held on November 15. This event is a completely new concept for Wellington and promises to be one out of the box.
Teams of four corporates clash it out against each other to see who really rules Wellington! If your company has a nemesis and you’d love to show them whose boss; well now you can! This race caters for men, women, mixed gender teams and has a special category for people who work in services such as the Army, Navy, Ambulance, Police or Fire Service who are keen to show the corporate cowboys a thing or two! If you can’t rally together three other friends from work to join you, there is a Weekend Warriors category for mates.
There are over $5000 of fantastic prizes to be won including gig and bar packages from San Francisco Bathhouse and Good Luck Bar, an Xbox 360, MiAdidas shoes, HFD Fitness Hampers and more! There will be special prizes for the most outrageous costumes entered in the Weekend Warriors category – think NZI Rugby World Sevens costumes to be in to win!
With a unique mix of fun, physical challenge, team work and a “Survivor” style obstacle course, Clash of the Corporates promises to be a blast! The course is full of excitement and variety. The activities are all about challenging your cardiovascular fitness, strength, power, endurance, team work, ability to get wild and fun and of course – the competitive spirit!
The course winds its way around the Wellington Waterfront, eventually taking competitors to Mount Victoria and then back to the CBD passing through some of the best Wellington has to offer –Oriental Beach, Waitangi Park, Chaffer’s Dock, Frank Kitt’s Park, The Lagoon and Queen’s Wharf.
The race takes place on Sunday November 15 but registrations close in 3 weeks- so get cracking! Those interested in entering should visit www.hfd.co.nz or enter now at http://www.etickets.to/buy/?e=2843.
