NZBus: Weekly and Monthly Pass Holders Refunded
Friday, 16 October
NZ Bus is providing customers who use weekly or monthly zone passes with a refund for days travel lost while they were unable to access the service during the recent industrial action.
The industrial
action rendered bus services unavailable for seven days. To
ensure that no Go Rider weekly or monthly pass holders are
financially disadvantaged by the action, weekly and monthly
pass holders will be reimbursed.
“As a gesture of
goodwill, and to thank our customers for their patience we
will be adding the value of an additional day’s travel to
their refund,” says Zane Fulljames, General Manager
Operations.
Full information on the refund process is
now available on www.gorider.co.nz and a full customer
communications plan is in place to ensure all Go Rider card
holders know exactly how this process will occur.
Affected customers can go to http://http://www.gorider.co.nz
and fill in a refund form. Customers without access to
the internet can pick up a refund form from their usual
ticket agent from tomorrow. For a list of NZ Bus ticket
agents, please visit http://www.maxx.co.nz.
