Exporters and Entrepreneurs Unite

The New Zealand School of Export and Made from New Zealand are both led by entrepreneurs determined to put our country on the world stage. Now the two organisations are working together to help kiwi exporters learn from each other and take some of the risk out of doing business overseas.

“Successful exporting is about doing the ground-work and learning from the experiences of those who have previously ventured overseas” says Alison Vickers, Marketing Director at the School. “We are leading the way in export training, and Made from New Zealand is a growing online community where kiwi businesses can connect and collaborate - so there is a very real synergy between our two organisations - we are both working to nurture and support New Zealand’s export sector and it makes sense to collaborate in what is a win-win situation”.

Exporters enrolled with the School are being encouraged to join the growing Made from New Zealand online community and to have an online promotional video made by the Made from New Zealand mobile video production team. In turn, Made from New Zealand members are being offered an Export Scholarship (valued at NZ$1200) towards the cost of their course fees at the School, where they can study for the internationally accredited Diploma of International Trade, by distance learning.
