NZ - Hong Kong CEP (Closer Economic Partnership) adds even more opportunities for New Zealand exporters
Business NZ welcomes more great news on the international trade front as negotiations conclude on a CEP with Hong Kong.
Speaking on behalf of the Export NZ division of Business NZ, Auckland Regional Export Manager Bruce Goldsworthy said this latest Trade Agreement will add another string to New Zealand’s exporting bow.
“International traders have been keenly anticipating the conclusion of these negotiations following on from the FTA signed with China in 2008.
“It will give Kiwi companies further opportunities for trading services with Hong Kong, while others will also use Hong Kong as an accessway to China.
“This latest addition to our FTA/CEP portfolio shows the rising importance of Asia-Pacific economic relations and the appreciation of this by all countries concerned.”
