Remarkables Park Town Centre celebrates the fun of Christmas
Families, local people and visitors are invited to celebrate the magic of Christmas at the Remarkables Park Town Centre Christmas Family Fun Day, taking place on Saturday 28th November from 10am-3pm.
Plenty of activities are planned for children while adults can take the opportunity to snag some great pre Christmas deals at their favourite stores.
Santa will be on hand to hear Christmas wishes before leading the Carol singing in the afternoon.
Korrena Mielke of Remarkables Park Town Centre says the annual Christmas Family Fun Day had become a popular fixture on the local calendar and signalled the start of the Christmas shopping season.
“It’s a relaxed day where neighbours catch up with each other, visitors mix, kids play and everyone starts their Christmas Shopping. Many of our retailers are promising great discounts for the day and the atmosphere is always friendly and fun,” she says.
Children are welcome to dress up as their favourite Super Hero or put their best moves forward in the Hula Hoop competition to be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes including a Shotover Jet trip for a family of four. Adults too have the opportunity to pick up a great prize. There’s a Samsung 42” HD Ready plasma TV to be won and entering the draw is as simple as spending $20 or more at any Remarkables Park retailer between November 13th and November 28th.
There will also be an entertaining line up of face painting, bouncy castles, a petting zoo and a special play station for younger family members.
“It’s a fun way to get the season underway,” says Ms Mielke. Remarkables Park Town Centre is a comprehensive Christmas Shopping destination with plenty of parking, a great range of national brand shops and boutique stores with spacious areas to relax with a drink or meal. It’s a great place to do your Christmas shopping.”
Remarkables Park Town Centre is open 9am to 6pm seven days except Christmas Day.
