NATCOM Supports Unlimited Fibre Internet

NATCOM Supports Unlimited Fibre Internet Services for Business

Auckland, 30 November 2009 – Managed fibre Internet provider NATCOM, supports a recent announcement by Vector in offering uncapped fibre to Auckland businesses within reach of its network.

Frayne Cooke, Managing Director of NATCOM says “we are pleased to see more initiative being taken by the network operators in enabling unlimited fibre service plans”.

NATCOM is a pioneer in unlimited Fibre Internet services. “We launched our first unlimited business Internet services in 2005, and more recently our OneSERVICE Fibre Internet for enterprise, education and government in 2008” says Cooke.

OneSERVICE is an all-in-one Fibre Internet product from NATCOM. As well as providing unlimited domestic and international data, OneSERVICE includes built-in security via NATCOM’s SLAM Firewall Router appliance, optional content and application control, public IP addresses, reporting, monitoring, 24/7 service level agreements and installation, all included in One flat rate.

Cooke says “not only is our fibre Internet service available in Auckland and Wellington, it’s also available in all metro locations throughout the country. This means we can provide businesses with 1 or many offices spread around New Zealand with a dedicated national fibre optic network that greatly increases network performance and significantly reduces costs when compared with aging copper networks.”

It is important, says Cooke, that services such as NATCOM’s are available to a good majority of business in New Zealand. “Although not every business, school or office in the country can access fibre Internet, NATCOM together with our network partners and other service providers are extending every effort to make this necessity become reality”.

“Our government’s commitment to fibre optic networks has provided a large boost to the industry. Great incentives will encourage investment in the networks and services required to lift productivity in our country.”

NATCOM continues to promote unrestrictive Internet for enterprise, and is committed to making a positive contribution to New Zealand’s fibre network and services future.
