Men don't leave your shopping too late!

Men don't leave your shopping too late... or miss out!

People need to remember that there is little late night shopping on Christmas Eve as most of the country’s shopping malls close at 6pm tomorrow, says Cameron Brewer, chief executive of the Newmarket Business Association.

"It has always been a nice tradition on Christmas Eve that allows retail employees to get home to their families.

"The worry is that many men in particular still think they've got all night on Christmas Eve to start and finish their shopping.

“However to avoid disappointment people mustn't leave it until after work on Christmas Eve. People still working need to do their shopping tomorrow lunch-time at the latest, which is lining up to be the busiest lunch-time of the year, possibly ever.

"With Christmas falling on a Friday, and given the economy, many people are taking it right to the wire this year. Christmas Eve is lining up to be huge, with Paymark predicting in excess of 120 transactions per second from noon to 1pm," says Cameron Brewer.
