New Directory Fills The Gap
New Directory Fills The Gap
New Plymouth based company, New Zealand Delivers Limited, has recently launched an innovative niche-market business directory they believe will offer greater benefits to both customers and business than do any of the current market leaders.
With a powerful database that features only businesses that deliver a product or a service ‘to your door’, the directors feel they have captured a unique and growing market.
And it is not only this fact that makes the directory unique. It provides comprehensive information on the business listed at no cost to that business, offers ‘search by suburb’ for goods and services, finds the businesses very fast – and to cap it off, offers the customer a deal!
Part of the offering to each business other than the free high quality listing, is the ability, again at no charge, to offer a deal or voucher to their customers. Whether the customer is looking for a babysitter, a tradesperson, an iPod or a bottle of wine delivered – the possibility exists of the business offering a better-than-average deal on the service or article.
The directory offers their free listing service only to businesses that qualifies as ‘delivery’ businesses, and each business is able to define their delivery areas, place logos and pictures of products, upload menus, make a special offer – and take an option of higher placement on the search results.
Delivering goods and services right to customer’s homes and offices is the ultimate in customer service, say the directors, and more and more people are looking for companies that will deliver what they want directly to their doorstep. And it is a niche market that is sure to grow when contemplating rising petrol prices, a shortage of parking spaces, increasing traffic congestion and busy lives.
The easily used site, www.nzdelivers.co.nz was launched quietly on the 9th day of the 9th months in ’09 – and has had substantial numbers of unique visitors using the site even during this initial test period, and numbers continue to grow on a weekly basis.
Businesses have also been visiting the site both to list their services and to add to their listings where they are already listed.
Including businesses from Invercargill to Northland, the owners are confident the sites use will continue to grow as both businesses and customers enjoy the speed and clarity of any search they enter.
