Fullers Launches ‘Vineyard Hopper’ Bus Service
Auckland, 8 January 2010 – From Friday 1st January 2010, visitors to Waiheke Island can enjoy a new bus service which will take them “hopping” around some of the island’s vineyards.
The Fullers Vineyard Hopper operates daily during January and on weekends during February and operates on an hourly timetable and loop between Matiatia Ferry Terminal, Cable Bay Vineyard (on request), Mudbrick Vineyard, Jurassic Ridge, Goldwater Estate and Kennedy Point. The service meets ferries departing Auckland from 10am – 3pm and returns to ferries departing Matiatia from 12 noon – 5 pm.
An All Day Vineyard Hopper Pass is available at Fullers Ticket Offices for $20 and allows customers to hop on or off the Vineyard Hopper Bus multiple times in the same day and can also be used on all other scheduled Waiheke Island Bus services. Children travel for free if accompanied by an adult.
Customers can also choose to purchase a $4 one way fare, allowing them to hop on or off the bus at Matiatia or at any of the 5 vineyards for a one way journey. This ticket can be purchased at Fullers Ticket Offices or on the bus.
