One of New Zealand’s leading wine companies implements wine-industry business solution
Auckland, January 11, 2010 – Eclipse (New Zealand) Ltd announced today the decision by Sacred Hill Wines to implement VinPoint – a fully integrated end–to-end business management software solution designed by Eclipse specifically for the winery and wine-related industries.
The agreement will see Eclipse working with Sacred Hill Wines to implement VinPoint as the central application to assist the wine company gain a real-time snapshot of its business and manage every aspect from viticulture and winemaking through to bottling, finance, inventory management, sales and customer relationship management, and in doing so, becoming the foundation site for VinPoint in New Zealand.
Sacred Hill Wines’ General Manager, Richard Foddy said, “We’ve selected VinPoint simply because it’s software that will not only help us thoroughly understand our business but it’s also designed specifically to meet the demands of today’s sophisticated wine industry. And from what we’ve seen it still has the look, feel and user-friendliness of our current Microsoft environment.
Eclipse’s VinPoint is currently used by fourteen major wineries in Australia. Running on Microsoft’s Dynamic NAV platform it provides specialised information and data wine industry participants demand while also seamlessly integrating with widely used Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
