Markhams CA firm takes on two new partners

Chartered accountancy firm, Markhams Auckland has appointed two new partners and two new principals, plus added a further seven additional professional and support team members.

John Teague and Dennis Munn, along with the existing five partners now head up Markhams Auckland, while former O’Halloran partner, Kiran Bhikha and principal, Rob Hargrave are now Markhams’ principals.

“We believe our clients will benefit from the high level of business and taxation advice available through Markhams, which is part of a New Zealand-wide network of six independent firms that has international affiliations,” says John Teague, commenting on the move to Markhams.

Markhams’ director, Sam Bassett believes the arrival of the 13 new personnel “adds strength to our knowledge base. We can see that the people joining us share the same values and ambitions to help clients grow stronger businesses. We are delighted to welcome them to our team; it’s a great fit.”

The new additions bring the Markhams team to 45 personnel. While the core business of the firm is chartered accountancy and business advisory services, Markhams Auckland also has a number of specialist business development units for pharmacy, legal and wine clients that offer industry expertise and business initiatives.
