Oil Prices in 2010 Look Rocky But Gull Maintains Value for Money
Auckland, 12 January 2009 – Gull announced today that despite oil prices climbing globally it is dedicated to holding lower price levels for as long as possible.
Graham Stirk, Gull Retail Manager says that although the 2010 oil predictions may hold some validity, Gull will continue to allow time and as much warning on price rises at the pump; ensuring Kiwi motorists can fill up before the prices go up.
“International refined prices continue to significantly increase, but thankfully with a stable New Zealand dollar, some of this increase is off-set at the pump for the New Zealand consumer,”says Stirk.
“Despite the 2010 oil predictions, Gull is confident that it will hold on its lower prices and offer best value for money wherever possible, for as long as possible.”
Stirk concludes, “Today has been another day for price rises at the pump, but Gull will not increase its prices until at least Friday. Gull strives to do its best for the Kiwi motorist and keep them informed of holding prices for the chance to fill up.”
At the majority of Gull outlets where Gull controls retail prices, prices are as follows:
Gull Regular Plus
- $1.669
Gull Regular 91
- $1.689
Gull Force 10 (98 Octane)
- $1.809
Gull Low Sulphur Diesel
- $1.089
Gull drive-through sites offer even further value for money.
