L&M Energy Limited (ASX, NZX : LME) hereby announces a Special General Meeting of
shareholders to be held on Monday 22nd February 2010, commencing at 12:00 noon (NZT)at the Te Aro Room 1, Level 4, 114 The Terrace, Wellington NZ.

The meeting is being called to seek shareholder approval for the acquisition of L&M Coal
Seam Gas Limited.

shareholders, for details on the meeting and the transaction.
