Auckland inner city shoppers are being promised the highest quality fruit and vegetables at low prices with the full refurbishment of Nosh’s Ponsonby Road store.
Nosh co-owner Clinton Beuvink says the renovations have tripled the store’s space dedicated to food.
“I reckon we now have the best fruit and vege space in Ponsonby,” he says. “It’s 10 times the size it used to be and we have extended the butchery and fish counter to include a wider selection.”
In addition, Nosh has expanded its convenience food section to include milk and butter as well as a range of dips, yoghurts, cream and the like. It is also now offering fresh flowers.
“We have had excellent support from the local community,” Mr Beuvink says. “However many customers have also enjoyed the full Nosh experience at our other stores and their feedback has been that they want the same in Ponsonby.
“We’ve listened and we’ve reorganised things in-store and I can safely promise we now have the highest quality lines at arguably the best prices in the area,” he says. “And we are putting even more pressure on prices with the occasional pallet deal and great in-store specials.”
Mr Beuvink says beer and wine is still available on site in the adjacent Liquor King store.
It is Nosh Ponsonby’s first refurbishment since opening in December 2007. The new layout will be familiar to shoppers who are used to filling their trolleys in conventional fresh food shops, he says.
“It’s a bigger, brighter full Nosh experience – with heaps of parking.”
