NEW Invoicing Tool Cuts Time by up to 75%
A new tool designed to help companies improve invoicing time for costs incurred during projects is expected to cut billing time by up to 75 per cent.
Accounting software company Sybiz says it’s newly developed Advanced Job Invoicing (AJI) module enables customers to rapidly pick and choose costs incurred during a project and invoice the client in detail, along with margins already specified.
Sybiz Development Director Grant Argy says that AJI gives users more flexibility with invoicing and also enables customers to write-off outstanding work in progress after all invoices have been produced.
He says, “This saves companies time by giving them the ability to write off costs without producing a zero invoice, while the flexibility of the data entry also reduces the likelihood of errors while processing.”
The software is suitable for small and medium businesses in a range of industries including consultants, contracting companies, electrical and maintenance services, architects, surveyors, engineers, air conditioning installers, exporters, signwriters, manufacturers, building contractors and other service based businesses.
“In these types of businesses, progress invoicing is essential and clients value the ability to invoice based on estimates as well as actual costs. Advanced Job Invoicing provides fast and easy access to the actual transactions posted to a job or to a range of estimates prepared for the project,” Argy says.
User friendly, flexible tools are provided to help companies produce invoices with the relevant information required for clients. For example, a table of costs which are yet be invoiced can be sorted and subtotaled by any visible field, and individual costs may be deferred to a later invoice or written off.
Advanced Job Invoicing enables customers to select items to be claimed by stage, cost centre, date or cost type and it is also capable of issuing warnings to the user if there are outstanding purchase orders for the job. Argy adds, “This type of smart messaging assists our clients by ensuring the job remains on track.”
Sybiz Software developed the product with the end-user in mind, allowing for companies to have more control over invoicing and costs.
