National Infrastructure Plan: A Good First Step
Roading New Zealand has welcomed the release of the Government’s National Infrastructure Plan, saying it is a positive step in addressing New Zealand’s infrastructure needs.
The plan brings together information on New Zealand’s current and proposed infrastructure and highlights infrastructure projects scheduled in the short to medium term.
It’s good to see the Government making progress in addressing this country’s infrastructure needs”, said Roading New Zealand Chief Executive, Chris Olsen, “by looking at infrastructure needs on a national level it helps the construction industry understand what work is coming up so we can plan and gear up for it.”
Roading New Zealand is looking forward to the next version which should link the National Infrastructure Plan to this country’s strategic infrastructure goals and better focus on improving the management of our infrastructure assets.
