Tourmasters Achieve Enviro-Gold Rating
Tourmasters South Pacific (NZ) Ltd First to Achieve Qualmark Enviro-Gold Rating
Tourmasters is delighted to announce it is the first New Zealand Inbound Tour Operator to be awarded Qualmark Enviro-Gold.
Being awarded this Enviro-Gold level, identifies that Tourmasters is operating to the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility in the industry, as determined by Qualmark’s Responsible Tourism criteria. This criteria has been put in place to ensure “a balanced approach to economic, environmental and social priorities” 2008 Qualmark Responsible Tourism Guide.
Tourmasters CEO, Brian Henderson said “Tourmasters has always had an environmental and social ‘conscience’ but it is fantastic to be acknowledged for the ways in which we conduct our business. We now operate with Qualmark benchmarks firmly in place. This has helped to identify us as leaders in Responsible Tourism and shows we are doing our bit as a company to protect and preserve our fragile country and make it sustainable for the future tourism.”
