Doing business in Palmerston North just got a while lot easier with the opening of New Zealand’s first Vodafone Regional Business Centre. A one stop shop for business, the Centre will provide facilities for customer meetings, events and technology briefings as well as highly knowledgeable staff available to help and demonstrate the latest in communications technology.
The centre will create a hub for the surrounding areas of Taranaki, Whanganui, Manawatu, Horowhenua and Kapiti. A WoW (world of wireless) space will feature live demo units to showcase Vodafone’s latest products and services from our business product roadmap.
“It’s great to see larger businesses like Vodafone investing in the Manawatu region and helping to create jobs locally’ says Manuwatu Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman Paul O’Brien. ‘The fact that this business centre will enable other local businesses to be more productive and to better meet the needs of their customers is in line with all the latest research on using new technologies to improve business productivity.”
With more than ten staff, this unique centre is based on a collaborative management approach between Vodafone and its franchise partners First Mobile and Digital Mobile.
Vodafone’s Area Manager Richard McKenzie says, ”These are exciting times for Vodafone in the central region. Having these facilities will not only lead to greater market awareness but will also provide a meeting venue and demonstration spaces for local business to conduct customer meetings, host events, showcase and celebrate new products and initiatives. At present there is no existing venue which caters for this, and as the first of its kind in New Zealand, shows Vodafone’s commitment and investment to the region”.
The Regional Business centre located on the corner of Corner of Grey and Rangitikei Sts, Palmerston officially opens on 22nd April.
