Social Heroes Awards Calling For Nominations
The 2010 Robin Hood Prime Ministers Social Heroes Awards are now calling for nominations.
Prime Minister John Key in conjunction with The Robin Hood Foundation is now looking to the find out which business minds lead the way when it comes to innovative thinking around social issues.
Businesses or organisations of any size who have created meaningful partnerships in the social sector should be nominated.
Past years awards have acknowledged and celebrated previous winners such as PGG Wrightson for raising funds for IHC for 25 years with their farmers donating calves, Genesis Energy for the Genesis Oncology Trust which has become the largest cancer research dedicated fund in the country and Goodman Fielder for delivering fresh bread to food banks all over New Zealand.
The Foundation is keen to applaud businesses that see not just one currency of profit, but a currency also of reputation .The awards will be announced on July 23rd 2010 at St Mathews Cathedral Auckland – with nominations closing May 30th 2010.
