Ziptrek Ecotours finds a new home
Adventure tourism company Ziptrek Ecotours has
found a new year-round home for its booking office in
Queenstown.
The company has this week moved into new premises at 45 Camp St opposite the Station building. The space was previously used by House of Travel. The company had been housed in seasonal summer premises on Shotover Street.
Mr Yeo says the Ziptrek ground crew is delighted to finally have a permanent presence in the downtown area, with an outlook of the trees the company zips through.
“It’s great to have the continuity of a year-round location for our bookings and merchandise and ensure the shop is operational for the coming busy winter season,” he says.
“Ziptrek is a year-round, all-weather, all-abilities activity, absolutely ideal for visitors looking for off-mountain entertainment. We’re right up in the snowline of Bob’s Peak with spectacular views over Queenstown’s lake and snowcapped mountains… on a snowy day people will be immersed in a winter wonderland.”
