The Baby Collection delivers fun and versatility in new baby wear range
A great sense of humour derived from the founder’s native Ireland, coupled with a desire to create practical but stylish children’s wear, is at the heart of a new range of kids’ clothing launched this month.
Created by Nelson-based woman Louise Buckley, The Baby Collection features unique unisex designs and eye catching prints on both tops and pants for ages three months to two years.
Louise set about to produce her children’s wear range with several key elements in mind.
“I wanted the range to be totally fun with some humorous elements, and above all else, it had to be New Zealand designed and manufactured in locally sourced fabrics,” says Louise.
“Practicality and versatility are also key features - the pants are easy to get on and off and the entire outfit can easily go from summer to winter with the addition of a long sleeve top worn under the tee. Soft, loose and comfortable, The Baby Collection is as practical as it is unique.”
The 100% cotton range is fully designed and produced in the Nelson region and retails directly through the website www.thebabycollection.co.nz The initial range features seven designs, with the tops and pants sold as a set for $69.
