Winners Across a Broad Range of
Industries Rely on Sitecore CMS Software to Accelerate Web
Strategies
Sydney, Australia, May 13, 2010 – Sitecore, the leading provider of .NET
Web Content Management System (CMS) software, today
recognised Site of the Year winners across several regions.
This year’s overall winners from Australia/New Zealand,
Netherlands and International are Blackmores, FANUC Robotics and Hogeschool Utrecht.
The Sitecore Site of the Year winners were selected based on each company’s use of Sitecore’s CMS software to deliver more effective business processes that advance Web strategies. The Sitecore judges considered creativity, integration with rich data sources and applications, overall user experience and the ability to educate, inform and motivate an action.
This
year’s overall winners relied on Sitecore’s software to
drive a number of online initiatives and to meet various
website goals.
• Blackmores, Australia’s leading
natural health brand, worked with Sitecore partner,
Bullseye, to implement Sitecore CMS software and OMS (Online
Marketing Suite) solutions to build a digital platform that
connects more personally with its customers.
• FANUC
Robotics Europe, working with Sitecore partner, The
Reference, leveraged Sitecore’s software to provide brand
consistency across multiple sites and in 14 different
languages while turning the site into a dynamic sales and
marketing tool. FANUC Robotics Europe is a subsidiary of
FANUC Ltd, the world’s largest manufacturer and
distributer of industrial robots.
• University of
Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), one of the
largest further education colleges in the Netherlands,
collaborated with Sitecore partner, Evident Interactive, to
implement a solution that could maintain several websites
while reusing content and integrating a large number of
flash videos and other media across multiple sites.
“Sitecore has once again recognised some of the most
engaging and creative websites,” said Kim Elsass, Chief
Information Officer, Sitecore. “As we continue to raise
the bar on product innovation, our customers are right there
with us – offering online engagement and technology
integration to better align business goals. In addition, our
partners continue to lead the way in creative design and
implementation that brings this innovation to life. The use
of CMS technology gets stronger each year and we look
forward to the new advancements that will arise next
year.”
