Revamped Marlborough Bubblys Now Better Than Ever
Revamped Marlborough Bubblys Now Better Than Ever
Allan Scott Family Winemakers stable of carefully crafted sparkling wines have undergone a complete makeover inside and out and now offer Methode lovers three even more elegant, classy blends that most definitely look the part.
On the inside, the three Marlborough bubblys (Les Joues Rouges, Cecilia Reserve and Blanc de Blancs) have been refined with the quintessential Scott Family winemaking magic, and this magic is mirrored on the outside as well, with a complete design re-brand.
Head winemaker Josh Scott says that the re-brand was such an important job for the family that they left no stone unturned in making sure their goals were realised.
The products are top-quality and we wanted them to epitomise that in all aspects, so we got together as a family and figured out the best way to make it all happen, says Josh Scott.
It has been 14 years since Allan Scott produced his first Marlborough Methode Traditionelle style wine and since then, the three varietals have become an important part of the companys sales both locally and globally.
Vineyard founder Allan Scott says that champagne holds a special part in the familys heart, and that before it went to production, the final product had to pass the toughest of tests.
I knew wed have to come up with something pretty special that would impress Cathy (my wife) as she was the inspiration for creating Methodes in the first place. One of the varietals is named after Cathy - Cecilia is her middle name. Its lucky shes as thrilled with outcome as I am, says Allan Scott.
