New Zealand represented on international business body
BusinessNZ Chief Executive Phil O’Reilly
has been elected to the Executive Board of the Business &
Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD.
BIAC advises government policymakers at the OECD to assist international OECD policy decisions aimed at the generation of growth and prosperity among member countries.
This is the first time a New Zealander has been elected to the Executive Board.
Mr O’Reilly said it was important that smaller economies’ issues were well represented and he was looking forward to contributing a New Zealand perspective to the work of the OECD.
