Business buzz at expo

Business buzz at expo

Business confidence is up – that’s the buzz at this year’s Bizzone Business Expo.

The largest event for business is one of the best gauges of business optimism because it caters for all business but is especially popular with small and medium businesses, the heartland of New Zealand business. More than 95% of businesses in this country are small or medium sized.

“There is a definite buzz and feeling of high energy at this year’s Bizzone Business Expo among both visitors and exhibitors,” Bizzone managing director Sarah Trotman says. “Business owners are much more optimistic and motivated this year,” she says and the exhibitions are of a higher standard.”

Seats were at a premium for the first showing of the StuffUp documentary featuring eight business leaders admitting their mistakes. Many of those watching the movie for the first time admitted to making similar mistakes but like the eight business leaders being filmed, had the courage and passion to move on and grow their business.

Thousands are expected at the three-day expo where business owners are taking time out to learn, network and learn from and be inspired by the 200 exhibitors and non-stop National Bank seminars on tap at the ASB Stadium, Greenlane, Auckland. The Bizzone Business Expo will move to Wellington (21-23 July) and Christchurch (11-13 August).
