NetApp Appoints Todd Parsons As Channel Sales And Marketing Director For Australia And New Zealand

NetApp has appointed Todd Parsons as Director of Channel Sales and Marketing for Australia and New Zealand.

In his new role, Parsons is responsible for all aspects of NetApp’s channel and marketing program strategy development and management across Australia and New Zealand. This includes strengthening NetApp’s channel program and growing NetApp’s brand presence in the ANZ market. He reports to Peter O’Connor, Area Vice President for NetApp South East Asia Pacific.

Parsons brings more than 20 years IT industry experience to the role, including senior sales and marketing positions with Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard.

Most recently, Parsons spent six years at Sun Microsystems, where his positions included Volume Systems & Storage Sales Director and Commercial Business Manager. In these roles, he established new business and sales models to grow the business and expand the company’s reach across Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining Sun, Parsons worked for 13 years with Hewlett-Packard, most recently as the company’s Consumer Marketing Director. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s entire consumer marketing program, including go-to-market activity, brand and category management and channel business development.
